Care Guide

Your NOMO pieces are made from high-quality stainless steel and durable silicone designed for everyday use. With the right care, they are made to last for many years.

With everyday use, you may begin to notice light surface scratches on stainless steel. This is completely normal and simply reflects the natural durability of the material when used daily. These marks are cosmetic only and do not affect the safety, performance, or longevity of your NOMO pieces. Unlike plastic products that can degrade over time and release microplastics, stainless steel remains stable and safe for long-term use.

 

PURE STEEL DINING

Includes: Pure Steel Signature Collection, Pure Steel Plate, Pure Steel Bowl, Pure Steel Cup Sets, Mini & Me Cup Set, Measuring Cup Set

  • Wash before first use with warm soapy water
  • Dishwasher safe — place on the top rack
  • Dry thoroughly after washing before storing
  • Do not use in the microwave
  • Avoid abrasive cleaning pads or steel wool to maintain the finish
  • Do not soak in bleach or harsh chemicals

To preserve the integrity of the double-wall design on cups and mugs, avoid leaving pieces submerged in warm or hot water for extended periods.

Stainless steel may occasionally develop water spots or light marks after washing. This is completely normal and does not affect safety or performance. To restore shine, wash with warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. A small amount of white vinegar or olive oil can help remove mineral spots.

 

H20 BOTTLE & H20 BOTTLE CHROME

Designed to be clean. Actually clean.

The H20 lid is designed to fold the straw back down into the bottle when not in use. This is intentional — no extra seals, no hidden gaskets, no parts that collect mould in places you can't see or reach. One straw brush. That's all you need.

  • Wash before first use
  • Hand wash only — dishwasher not recommended as it can affect the vacuum seal and outer finish
  • Use a straw brush to clean the inside of the straw and bottle body thoroughly
  • Always fold the straw down into the bottle and close the lid before laying the bottle on its side — the bottle is not leakproof with the lid open
  • Keep the bottle standing upright when the lid is open
  • Dry upside down with the lid open to allow full air circulation and prevent moisture build-up
  • Do not place in the microwave or freezer
  • Avoid dropping — dents can affect the double-wall vacuum seal
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners — particularly on the chrome finish

The H20 has no hidden parts, no extra seals, and no mould traps — just a straw, a lid, and a bottle brush. Simple, clean, and built to stay that way.

The chrome finish on the H20 Bottle Chrome is a mirror-polish exterior — light surface marks over time are normal with daily use.

 

ACTIVATE SHAKER BOTTLE

  • Wash before first use — hand wash only to maintain the highest quality
  • The bottom compartment is designed to remain attached to the bottle during use — it can be removed for cleaning but is intended to be kept on
  • The bottle can still be used without the bottom compartment attached if preferred
  • Hand wash the bottle body, lid, and bottom compartment separately using warm water and mild dish soap
  • Use a bottle brush to clean the inside of the body thoroughly
  • Do not place any components in the dishwasher
  • Ensure the bottom compartment is completely dry before locking it back into place — moisture trapped inside can cause odour or residue build-up
  • Dry thoroughly with the lid off before reassembling
  • Do not microwave

Please note: the shaker lid is made from BPA-free plastic. The stainless steel body is 304 food-grade steel.

As part of the manufacturing process, you may occasionally notice dark marks or residue on the inside of the bottle that do not wash off immediately. This is a harmless electrolysis residue that can remain after the stainless steel finishing process and is not always visible during quality inspection. It is completely safe and will lift easily after a few washes with warm water and mild dish soap, or by soaking with a mixture of warm water and white vinegar for 30 minutes. DAILY COFFEE CUP

  • Wash before first use with warm soapy water
  • Hand wash recommended to preserve the double-wall vacuum seal and finish
  • Use a bottle brush to clean the inside thoroughly
  • Dry thoroughly after washing with the lid off and upside down
  • Do not microwave
  • Do not place in the freezer
  • Do not leave submerged in water for extended periods — this can affect the vacuum seal
  • Avoid abrasive cleaning pads

The double-wall design keeps your drink hot or cold for longer. To maintain performance, rinse after each use and allow to air dry fully before closing the lid for storage.

 

TODDLER BOTTLE & BOTTLE TEATS

  • Wash all components before first use
  • Hand wash the bottle body and teats with warm soapy water
  • Use a bottle brush to clean inside the bottle body
  • Sterilise teats before first use and regularly thereafter
  • Do not boil the stainless steel bottle body
  • Check teats regularly for signs of wear, cracking, or discolouration — replace as needed
  • Dry all components thoroughly before reassembling and storing
  • Do not use in the microwave

 

TUCKER BOX

  • Wash before first use with warm soapy water
  • Hand wash recommended — avoid the dishwasher to maintain the brushed finish
  • Dry all components thoroughly — inside and out — before closing and storing
  • Do not microwave
  • Avoid abrasive cleaning pads or steel wool to maintain the brushed finish
  • Store with the lid slightly open if putting away for extended periods to prevent moisture build-up
  • Do not store food in the Tucker Box for extended periods without refrigeration

 

MINI COLLECTION — KIDS DINING

Includes: Mini Kids Dining Set, Mini First Bites Dining Set, Kids Dinner Plates, Kids Bowls, Kids Cups & Cutlery

The silicone components are removable for easy cleaning.

  • Wash all components before first use
  • Dishwasher safe — however hand washing and air drying silicone pieces will extend their life
  • Remove silicone components before washing for a thorough clean
  • Ensure all pieces are completely dry before reassembling — trapped moisture can cause odour build-up
  • Do not use in the microwave
  • Avoid abrasive cleaning to maintain the matte finish on silicone
  • Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals on silicone components

NOMO MINI pieces are packaged directly from the manufacturer. As part of the stainless steel polishing process, you may notice a small amount of black polishing residue on the inside of the silicone components. This is a harmless manufacturing residue and will lift easily after the first few washes with warm water and mild dish soap.
